yes, it says it is. I washed it in Dreft, as I do all the baby stuff, in like colors and dried it on gentle tumble. Came out great! I recommend to attach the velcro bits together, so it doesn't get stuck on anything else and cause fraying.

It says you can machine wash with cold water and line dry. It says that it is best to spot clean if the pillow does not need fully washed.

I'm not sure if the pillow itself is machine washable, but the covers are. I have washed mine multiple times. I own two covers, so that when once gets dirty, I don't have to do laundry immediately! Always have an extra!

I'm not sre about the instructions but I know that it is. I machine washed and dried the cover for a whole year and now i'm about to use it with baby #2. The pillow I washed in the machine but air dried.

I'm not sure if the instructions indicate if it is machine washable but I already removed it and put it in the washing machine and nothing happened to it except that it got cleaned.

I used this nursing pillow from birth to 6-7 months when my son started to crawl & was weaned. I really enjoyed the "harness" feature, as it did keep him from falling forward when he could not sit up by himself. He could still fall backward and to the sides, and the pillow kept him protected, but he obviously could not right himself after falling. So sometimes I would prop other blankets/pillows under the Cuddle-U to make it more like a really plush bumbo? :)
Also loved it for nursing and pre-fastened the harness portion when he was a newborn and laid him on top of it so he didn't fall so far down into the middle of the pillow.

My baby is 7 weeks old and is the same way; he loves to sit up "like a big boy" but he can't quite do it by himself yet. He's even propping himself up on his elbows with the aid of the Cuddle-U pillow.

I imagine that he will be using this pillow for several more weeks. It will aid him in learning to sit up on his own.

i use it with my son and he is older than that! and i have seen them use bobbys till they are alot older, i just prefer this one cuz of the strap and it works great for tummy time

Yes you should be able to use it from newborn to whatever age your child sits on their own.

I purchased this for my 4 month old granddaughter to aid her with sitting. She seems to like laying over it on her tummy playing with her toys. She uses this at least every other day. If you want it just for a sitting aid, putting bed pillows around her would work just as well, but as a play aid, I/she loves it. She also enjoys laying on it, propped up watching tv.

My baby started using this at 2 weeks and its amazing..I cant live without it now and he's 8 weeks.

The Cuddle U can be used for many things. 2 months is perfect to start using for tummy time, helping with the posture for the sitting up position, and just simply relaxing and playing with toys. My son is 6 months and he still loves being on his pillow

I haven't washed it yet so I haven't taken it all the way off but it seems like you can...hope that's helpful, it's at my mom's so I can't check for certain.

Yes, it does come off, and washes up nicely. I was concerned the cover wouldn't fit right after washing it...but if you follow the directions you shouldn't have a problem. I suggest letting it hang dry and then throwing it in the dryer for a couple of minutes to get any wrinkles out and soften it up... ;) Hope that helps!

I have a six month old who is almost able to sit up on her own without tipping over. We bought this to help her sit safely. I wish I had bought it ealier, because she's almost done using it. I've also been using it as a nursing pillow, and it's a back-saver! Again, I wish I had bought it when she was born.

I like this one, because it's cute and the cover is removable and washable.

She does find her way out of it, but she doesn't hurt herself, so only use it on the floor, unless as a nursing pillow.

It's wonderful for propping her up to take photos.
